PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapy (PT) diagnoses and manages movement dysfunctions and enhances physical and functional abilities for children. Our PTs are trained in evaluating and treating:
Muscle strength and range of motion
Gross motor activities (rolling, sitting, standing, walking, jumping, running and climbing)
Posture, balance and coordination
Assistive devices for mobility
Orothopedic and neurological injuries

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a holistic therapy addressing a child's ability to play and participate in activities of daily living. Our OTs are skilled in evaluating and treating:
Self care (dressing, brushing teeth, bathing)
Fine motor skills/coordination
Oral motor skills
Meal time experience (eating a variety of foods and textures, using utensils, sitting at the table)
Handwriting
Sensory issues/body regulation

SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY
A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is a trained professional who helps in developing effective communication strategies for children. SLPs also help improve a child's feeding and swallowing skills. Our SLPs are experienced with evaluating and treating:
Apraxia of speech
Articulation/phonology disorders
Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
Speech and language delay
Reading and written expression difficulties
Social skills/pragmatic language
Voice disorders
Tongue thrust
Cognition

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
Our special instructors hold degrees in early childhood education and are skilled in assisting families with preschool/school readiness:
Academic readiness
Managing challenging behaviors
Social-emotional skills for family and peer interactions
Expanding play skills.
